I have been actively using FireFox 3.6, on top of Windows 7, for over 24 hours. During that time I probably used it, actively, for about 8 hours. I just checked my history for yesterday. It is scary. Looks like I accessed about 300 pages. That seems about right. Yes, I am very much a type A+++. When I am on a roll I can go through 10 different sites in a minute.
Other than the small hesitation with TypePad, on first invocation, 3.6 seems OK.
Yes, no question, with FireFox 3.6 new tabs are created ADJACENT to the tab invoking the creation. Not a big deal once you get used to it … though it messes up my very carefully laid out sequence of tabs on my main (right-hand) monitor. But I can live with that.
Noticed that my email was a tad sluggish very late at night, last night. But, since I was ready to shutdown I really couldn’t be bothered to check it out. Email was fine this morning.
I haven’t done a complete clear all of my history since 3.6. I have a lot of cookies.
I will keep you posted. But, touch wood, so far, so good.
